The puppies are starting to crawl around now, though none of them have
gained use of their back legs. After school, I relocated them from
the tent in front of my apartment to what is ostensibly a pillow fort
in my second bedroom. It turns out there are seven puppies, all
diagnosed as "pretty healthy" by the non-veterinary professionals at
our compound.

I think Cookie was pretty happy with the move. Dogs don't usually
give birth out in the open, but she did right outside my apartment.
This was probably her plan the whole time.

No idea what we are going to do with them once they're done nursing.
But that is a sad time we'll have to think about later. Now it's cute
time!
